Legal acts
We would like to inform you that on January 23, 2015, the regulations to the Waste Act of December 14, 2012 came into force
(elaborated on the basis of the Journal of Laws of 2013, item 21, 888, 1238, of 2014, item 695, 1101), which clearly sets out the OBLIGATIONS OF ENTREPRENEURS AND HOUSEHOLDERS IN THE SCOPE OF WASTE MANAGEMENT.
Below we present the most important provisions contained in the above-mentioned act, i.e.:
- waste holder – it means the waste producer or a natural person, a legal person and an organizational unit without legal personality that is in possession of waste; it is presumed that the land owner is the owner of the waste on the property;
(every entrepreneur and producer is a waste producer) - waste storage – the waste holder is obliged to immediately remove waste from a place not intended for storage or storage;
(store waste in one place and we will come and collect it) - transfer of liability – means the transfer of rights and obligations incumbent on the waste producer and takes place under the condition of concluding an agreement in writing under pain of nullity; (by signing a contract with us, you transfer responsibility for your waste to us)
- transport of waste - in the near future, a National Vehicle Register Database will be created from companies that have permits to transport waste, which will significantly affect control interviews (Police, VIEP); (after a telephone notification, we will come and collect your waste ourselves)
- the polluter pays principle – the waste producer bears the full costs of waste management;
- register of waste holders - our company will keep a register of waste holders, which will then be submitted quarterly to VIEP and ARiMR;
(we will inform you about changes in environmental law) - mixing hazardous waste with non-hazardous waste – for this type of offence, the waste owner is subject to a very high fine;
(we will teach you how to sort your waste correctly) - keeping records of waste - for missing documentation, the waste holder is subject to a fine of PLN 1,000 to PLN 10,000
